John has led and received global recognition for successful transformations of numerous large global complex organizations – driving definition and alignment of strategy, structure, governance, capabilities and culture. With over 25 years of experience, John has held executive leadership roles dedicated to organizational change as well as external/internal consulting roles.

John has held numerous executive roles supporting CEOs and executive teams through transformations. At Cargill (the world’s largest private company), John lead an internal Global Business Consulting Team where he was co-leader of the organization’s most significant change in the company’s 150 history. He was brought into the turnaround and transformation of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group, PLC) where he was ranked the #1 consultant and was retained to work with executive team for 2 additional years (London based) – transformation received Citation of Excellence from ASTD at an international conference. John has been engaged to lead numerous restructuring across many industries as well as building M&A integration playbooks (benchmarking with world-class M&A/Integration corporations) for a number of high growth clients.

John was engaged to co-lead the integration of two large global biotechnology companies ($32B merger, 27,000 employees) where he focused on structure, talent and culture. John was the integration architect of a large scale acquisition by SCJohnson Wax Professional of Diversey (Unilerver company), tripling the company’s size and value through a highly successful integration.

John has worked within various industries, provided consulting expertise to organizations from private/family organizations, mid-caps to global Fortune 100 companies. Sample of experience includes: AlliedSignal/Honeywell, American Family, Apple Computer, ARAMARK, Baxter, Baxalta/Shire, Bostik/ARKEMA, Cargill, Delta Faucet Company, Hallmark Cards, IHG, Kohler, MG&E, Northwestern Mutual, QBE Insurance, The RBL Group, SCJohnson, and WorldQuant.

John is an author and key notes speaker on business transformations and leadership. His first book, “PiVOT – Transforming Organizations”, was released in 2021. His new book “New Book Title“, comes out March 2024.
